What I Want to Be When I Grow Up…

9.3 Blog-tember Challenge

I can remember in kindergarten, I had to make up a book all about me and one of the pages was what I wanted to be when I grew up. On that page, I put I wanted to be a singer, just like Shania Twain. She was my idol, my mom has videos of me singing Man, I Feel Like a Woman.  However, with age and the ugliness of the world, I lost that dream.  It wouldn’t be for me anyway.  I’m more conservative and am a home body.  I wouldn’t be able to live in the stardom.  I’ve always been motherly, I think it’s just part of being the oldest in my family.  For awhile now, I can’t wait to be a mom (well I can but I’m very excited!).  So I guess when I grow up, I want to be the best mom I can possible be.  Besides that, my passion is to help others live their healthiest and happiest lives!

  1. I totally get the “can’t wait but can wait” feeling about being a mom. I’m the same way. I always say I want a “rent-a-kid”. And I’m always telling my friends they need to have babies for me 🙂

    • Ahh yay! I’m not crazy then. Yea, anytime there is a baby around or I find out someone is having one I get all giddy. We are more alike than we know!
