I’m Feeling Fall!

9.15.14 Blog-Tember Challenge

Sept 15th: Make a mood board. Are you brainstorming a room re-do, or are you dreaming of glamping with gal-pals? Share a collage of any kind! (Examples here and here).

I’ve never been a big fan of fall.  It meant summer was over and winter was creeping up.  However, this year I am just loving it!

Here is my mood board.  As I said fall is here!  The first cold day I was ready to whip out my boots and sweaters.  With the temperatures dropping, it means more cuddle time with my love.  I even got out my gloves and hat just to have in my car in case.

To celebrate fall and the hunting season,  Eric’s aunt and uncle who own Goose Haven Gun Club have a party.  We call it the Goose Haven Opener.  It was only my second year and it was a blast! The left picture is all of us girlies, the middle is my best friend Marissa, and the right is a few of us girlies with Mitch (Cassie’s boyfriend).  It was so much fun dancing the night away!

Yesterday,  my family had the an annual tractor ride.  Almost all my cousins and uncles are into antique tractors so they love to show them off.  We load up the wagon and take a drive through the country.  Pictured below on the left is my cousin Josh and his girlfriend Callie on his tractor, on the left is Eric and I while riding in the wagon (as you can tell my hair is everywhere!).

Yesterday, was also the opener for the Greenbay Packers home game.  I got to wear my new Packers sweatshirt 🙂 Before the game,  Eric and I went to Tom Dooley’s Orchards for some caramel apples and apple desserts.  It was a wonderful Sunday!  I can’t wait to see what else fall will bring! 🙂

What’s on your mood board? What do you love about fall?

    • Oh wow yes….I can understand why you are not feeling fall! It was 50 the one day here in WI. One night it was just about freezing temps! Where are you from?

  1. So much fun!!! I am getting frustrated that it is so hot here in Arizona and that we don’t really get a fall here! Hopefully this is my last fall here because I am planning to move back to Chicago next spring 🙂

  2. I am SO geared up for fall as well! I’m already writing recipes with ingredients that will be in season soon! I can’t wait until the weather starts getting a bit cooler though. It’s in the 100’s here in Sacramento! EEEKS!

    • I know what you mean about not jumping for fall. We didn’t have the best summer so I’m just trying to embrace the fall weather and hope it lasts nice and long!
